Scope and Topics

 

The Workshop covers all areas of mobile computing and wireless networks. The workshop will be held in conjunction with the Seventh International Conference on New Technologies of Distributed Systems (NOTERE 2007). Papers reporting original and unpublished research results on the workshop topics are solicited.

- M-Commerce, M-Learning and M-Entertainment

- Security and privacy in location based services

- Mobile Medical Services

- Video-conferencing and Tele-presence

- Context aware applications

- Security and Quality of Mobile Internet Applications

- Protocols for Wireless and Mobile Internet

- Performance evaluation of wireless networks

- Wireless systems simulation

- Mobility management in next generation networks

 

Deadlines

    - Submission (long and short papers):   January 12, 2007

    - Notification to authors:                     February 16, 2007

    - Final version due:                               March 30, 2007

    - Date of the Workshop:                      June 4th , 2007

 

Paper Submissions

Authors are invited to submit original contributions written in French or English in IEEE two-column formats using an electronic PDF or MS-Word formats. The paper length should not exceed 6 pages.   

 

Submissions should be sent attached by email  to the workshop chair using at:  bamine@ualg.pt

 

Every paper should mention on its first page the title, authors’ names and affiliation, an abstract and a list of keywords. For further details, please consult the Web site.
