Scope and Topics

The eGovernment is not simply making online public agencies programs; it consists in providing a large scope of e-services in a transparent and effective way for national, regional or municipal authorities. Thus, the eGovernment is progressing towards the integration of new and existing distributed application architectures to support different levels and functions of either vertical or horizontal government services.

The objective of the workshop is to discuss the complex issues related to the interoperability and integration, in and between Information Systems of different government agencies, to provide quality and reliable e-government services.

The main topics of the workshop are, but not limited to:

-    eGov interoperability

-    Governmental Enterprise architectures

-    eGov Process Management: Formalisms, Notation, Orchestration

-    Electronic G2G Collaboration

-    eGov Emerging technologies : Mobile technologies, Media integration,

    SOA, Web services, etc.

-    eGov assessment Methods and tools

-    Strategies of development, implementation, maintenance, and best practise

    in the e-gov projects

-    Trust and security

-    Applications: Local eGov, e-democraty, eGov and improvement of the

    public services, etc.
